Childhood is always a classic topic that people would like to talk about because we all have different childhoods depend on different group environments, different cultures, and different educational backgrounds, and also, when we talking about childhood, we will easily relate to the animations, TV series we watched and toys we play. So, this work’s inspiration comes from my childhood, and the animation I draw is called Journey to the West, it is a Chinese television series adapted from the classic 16th century novel of the same title, it is one of the four great classical novels of Chinese literature, every child in China need read this book in primary school, and this TV series will play on TV during every summer vacations, so I think it not only can represent my childhood but also the other Chinese people’s childhood. And the way it plays, I got the inspiration from the old film projector, remember when I was little, people will play the movie in the middle of the plaza, and I am curious about how the film can project on the projection screen, and now people going to the cinema or use the computer to watch the film, not many people know how and why the film can project on the film, so it can help us to think back to the childhood.

童年一直是人们乐于谈论的经典话题，因为我们每个人都有不同的童年，取决于不同的群体环境、不同的文化、不同的教育背景，而且，当我们谈论童年时，很容易联想到动画、 我们看过的电视剧和玩过的玩具。 所以，这部作品的灵感来自于我的童年，我画的动画叫西游记，是一部改编自16世纪经典同名小说的中国电视剧，是中国四大名著之一。 中国文学，每个中国的孩子都需要在小学读这本书，而且这个电视剧会在每个暑假在电视上播放，所以我认为它不仅可以代表我的童年，也可以代表其他中国人的童年。 还有它的放映方式，我从老电影放映机那里得到了灵感，记得小时候，人们会在广场中间播放电影，我很好奇电影是如何投射到投影屏幕上的，而且 现在人们去电影院或用电脑看电影，很少有人知道电影如何以及为什么可以放映在电影上，所以它可以帮助我们回想起童年。
